Good quality and quantities of new season produce is starting to make its way to wholesale markets in Queensland, with hopes the tropical fruit industry will make a good recovery from this year's flooding rains.
Summer produced disappointment for QLD banana and mango growers, with excess supply, rain at the wrong time, and transport difficulty due to flooded roads.
Brisbane markets are optimistic, but reluctant to put a price on what growers might get for new season Granny Smith apples and Imperial mandarins.
