Turkish exporters are concerned about the situation in Iraq

The latest events in this part of the world worry the exporters, who met in Adana last week with the Minister of Economy and various official authorities and representatives of other sectors to discuss problems and possible solutions.

Considering the period January to June 2014, the share of exports of fruits and vegetables to Iraq increased by 58 percent compared to the same period in 2013, representing 28% in quantity. Iraq is the second importer country of Turkish fruits and vegetables after Russia.
