Table Grapes: Volumes Increase

 

 

This advance, sometimes up to 20 days, allowed the region's production to be present on the market much earlier. If between May and June, the grapes from India, Chile or South Africa are still numerous on the European markets, the freshness and the quality of the Italian grape received the preference of the consumers.

 

 

 

Consumers have a choice between BLACK MAGIC, VICTORIA, PRIMUS and all other early varieties from mid-July. Production in the PUGLIA region is estimated at 9 million quintals, and that of the SICILIA region at 3 million quintals.
