The 2020 edition will be the 25th for expoSE, the largest European trade fair for asparagus and berry production, and the 10th for expoDirekt, the largest German trade fair for agricultural marketing.
Around 300 exhibitors, 25 of which will participate for the 1st time, will present their innovations for the production of asparagus and berries as well as for direct marketing. The organization announces that 21% of exhibitors come from abroad. With 32 companies, the Netherlands is the most represented, followed by Italy, France, Austria, Switzerland and Poland.
“We are very happy to be able to organize our trade show duo. Just as the producers have mastered their season under difficult conditions, we are now challenged to successfully implement the event. We are optimistic that the season has gone better than expected for asparagus and berry producers. There is a desire to be informed and to invest. Since our trade visitors have been able to deal with virus protection within their companies, we assume that they will handle the situation with confidence and come to the fair”, explains Simon Schumacher, spokesperson for the board of directors by VSSE (Verband Süddeutscher Spargel- und Erdbeeranbauer e. V.).
The Land Baden-Württemberg has authorized the organization of trade fairs and exhibitions under conditions of following strict 'Corona' regulations which impose hygiene and protection measures.
