Two weeks of strike paralyzed the exports; the World cup and the high season of harvests might prolong the disturbances.
A strike which touched all the transport in South Africa paralyzed the exports and the imports of the country.
The strike, which began on May 10th with the company Transnet, an operator of transport belonging to the State, arrives at the end of its second week. Trains are paralyzed; ships are blocked in ports or in expectation of accosting, cold storage are full of goods which were not able to be sent.
Workers in ports and railroads ask for a 15 % increase instead of the offered 11 %. Negotiations are in progress, the exit of crisis is close but the disturbances are going to continue.

will enter its rush hour for the exports of fruits in July.
The delays due to this strike, Football World Cup and the high season of exports are going to have an effect and accumulate the congestions in the expeditions.
The strike and its consequences worry the producers of the agricultural zones where harvests of apples and pears are going to begin.
