A helicopter crashed this morning near the New Covent Garden Market in London. (Photo BBC).

A helicopter struck a crane and crashed near New Covent Garden Market.

This morning around 8:00, a helicopter collided with a crane and crashed on Wandsworth Road involving vehicles. There could be two dead and

nine injured, according to the BBC. The helicopter pilot had requested a change of itinary because of bad weather on its way to London Heliport Battersea.

Part of the Vauxhall area has been evacuated.
