Drop in potato crop

Crop prospects are considered as disappointing on a qualitative level. The rate of waste will be superior to the one of last year. Moreover, the French, Dutch, German and Belgian production is expected to be down 3,6 million tons. In Europe, the total crop should hardly reach 44 million tons compared to 48,5 in 2000.
