New VP of fresh cut fruit at Chiquita

Chiquita Brands International has announced that it has named Tanios Viviani, 43, as vice president, Fresh Cut Fruit. Viviani will be responsible for leading Chiquita Fresh Cut Fruit, which began serving customers in the Midwestern United States in the fourth quarter 2003. The current Chiquita Fresh Cut Fruit product line consists of various combinations of watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries and grapes in consumer-friendly packaging in a variety of sizes, from single servings to party trays, using proprietary technology to promote shelf life and food safety. Chiquita Fresh Cut Fruit serves leading retail customers in a 10-state region within a 500-mile radius of the company's first processing plant near Chicago.
