The Prize of the innovation FRUIT LOGISTICA 2010 was awarded to the company Mehadrin Tnuport Export for a tool to remove the pips of pomegranates.
"Arils Removal Tool" (ART) is a tool which allows to hollow out quickly, simply and cleanly pomegranates. The shape and the size of the ART remind those of one lemon press. THE ART includes a bowl to get back seeds, a railing and a dome in supple silicone.
The price was put back to Noa Ohad (Shoham Product Development), for whom the development of this tool should also have a stimulating effect on the sales of pomegranates.
