Fontestad builds new plants

Almost a year after the fire that destroyed its premises in Museros, Fontestad began to build new plants on the same site. Fire safety will be high, going well beyond the current legislation. The building will use the latest technologies for the prevention, detection and fire fighting.

The first phase of construction has begun. Some services may be ready by the end of the year, but the final commissioning of the complex is scheduled for mid-2014. 

The new complex will be able to treat approximately one million kgs of fruit per day in high season.
