Onions price goes down in Ukraine

In accordance with latest data, onions price has fallen down to the lowest figures within last 8 seasons in Ukraine. Abundant supply of onions forces local farmers to decrease prices for this kind of vegetables each day. At the current moment, local producers are ready to ship off onions at 0,06 – 0,09 EUROkg, price depends on purchase amount and products quality. Despite onions costs decrease, this kind of products is mainly purchased by local retail chains. Due to market research specialists, Ukrainian onions were sold at lower price only in 2004.
