Tomato, record of Morocco's exports to EU

EU’s imports of tomatoes from Morocco for the 2007/08 campaign (October-May) have surpassed 292,000 tons, according to official data released by the European Commission. Such volume represents an historical record for that product for the EU.
Moroccan exports of tomatoes to the Community’s market have kept on growing constantly in the last years, with a rise by 58.2% between the campaigns 1999/2000 and the last one.
