Nominations for the 2011 Fruit Logistica Innovation Award

The FLIA 2011, Fruit Logistica Innovation Award, will be presented at Fruit Logistica in Berlin next February.
Selected by a panel of experts, the 10 best innovations will be introduced to visitors which will be invited to vote for the best innovation of the year. The winner will be announced February 11, 2011 during a special ceremony.
The 10 nominations for the Flia 2011:
- Consorzio Italiano Vivaisti, Italian for "Sweet resistant", 5 new varieties of apples.
- Florette, France for " Resealable freshness Bag Salad".
- Gasa Group, Denmark: "Jamie Oliver - Grow Your Own", herbs and mushrooms.
- Limeburst Fingerlimes, New Zealand: "Limeburst Fingerlimes" lemon caviar.
- Nsure, Netherlands: "StoreNSure Pear" internal quality control at harvest of pears for the duration of storage.
- Plant & Food Research, New Zealand: "RockitTM", new small apple in a barrel.
- Prime Champs, Netherlands: "Mandelpilz".
- Syngenta Seeds, Netherlands: "Angelle ", plum tomato
- The Greenery, Netherlands: "Sweet Sensation", Sweet Pear.
- XEDA International, France for "BIOX-M" - natural sprout inhibitor for potatoes.
