New prepared fruit facility in the UK will show it at Fruit Logistica by The Fruitery.
The Fruitery is located at the headquarters of Chambers (a leading berry grower-supplier in the UK), and supplies fresh, ready-to-eat, premium quality berry medley snacking pots to retailers in the UK and Europe, where the company is eager to expand its reach in response to the demand for healthy snacking products. Chambers and The Fruitery will be revealing an exciting new launch at Fruit Logistica next week, as The Fruitery announces its decision to expand its business to include the supply of fresh fruit and branded medley pots for the foodservice, retail and culinary trade sectors, alongside the original white label offering.
Importantly, The Fruitery has achieved a first in the UK because it has the advantage of taking fresh berries available directly from Chambers' own production (and overseas growers and partners) to pack into berry snacking pots. This means a shorter shelf-life (by 2 days!), reduced food miles and improved product quality for buyers and consumers.
