Brazilian agro exports reach almost 40 billion dollars

According to the Brazilian ministry of agriculture, agro-food exports from the country rose by over 27 percent in 2004 to almost 40 billion dollars. The agro-food sector represents over 40 percent of total Brazilian exports.
