The new peach Andesduuno has many assets: productive, good sweet taste, well rounded fruit and good shelf life.
Product of a genetical program, a new peach named Andesduuno has been introduced in Chile.
The ANA and the University of Chile, after 12 years working on this project, presented the new peach Andesduuno. The productivity would be of 40,000 kg / ha with an early bloom at the end of August and harvested end of December.
With a sweet taste, with nice round fruit and a good shelf life, the peach Andesduuno would mainly for canning. It may also be eaten fresh and is a good product for export.
