Fishery producers in the northeastern United States are expecting an exceptional harvest this year.
After a catastrophic year last season due to unfavorable weather conditions, farmers and agricultural experts anticipate an exceptional harvest this year.
Weather conditions last year had devastated harvests in the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Cold and late frosts caused in some regions the reduction of about 90-95% of the volumes harvested compared to the previous year.
This year, professionals are optimistic. The climatic conditions are much better, the flowering is excellent. This augurs an exceptional harvest.
