Good prospects for cherries harvests

According to the most recent crop estimates FRUIT UNION SUISSE provides a cherry harvest comparable to last year.
The expected amount is 2200 tonnes of this volume about 850 tons in the 28+ category, 1,050 tons in the 24+ category, and 280 tons in the 21+ category, according to professionals.
The pickings are expected to begin in mid-June, the bulk of the harvest is expected in early July and the end of the season around the 2nd half of August.
After a mild winter, spring was cool and wet braking the development of the fruits which are a little less developed than usual.
