Ito-Yokado to close 30 stores

Troubled Japanese supermarket chain Ito-Yokado has said that it will close around 30 loss-making stores over the next 3½ years. The news comes as part of a restructuring plan related to the establishment of a new holding company in alliance with Seven Eleven Japan and restaurant chain Denny's Japan.
