Primland kiwis benefit from a good reputation in Asia

The French company PRIMLAND specialized in Kiwi and baby-kiwi is exhibiting on Asia Fruit Logisitica every year.
This has been a perfect occasion for many exchanges with existing and future Asian customers about the kiwi brand named OSCAR.
Primland is one of the biggest kiwi producers from France. The season for kiwis goes from October to May. Last season has been a very good year for OSCAR, the kiwis were good quality, taste, size, firmness.
Met in Hong-Kong, Primland General Manager, Mr. Jean-Baptiste Pinel explained:
Asia is a strategic market for Oscar. We sell 25% of our kiwis to Asian markets. The brand has a strong image here. Professionals show a great respect to our products and idealization. This is the results of long presence in Asia since 1993, together with the great work done by our Asian Markets Manager: Mr. John Pipper.”
Mr. Olivier Pouilhès, Marketing & Communication Manager pointed out:
“This year, the company is also developing its digital strategy to ameliorate its consumers’ relation. Different initiatives will be launched to get a bigger presence on the social networks. For instance a website Oscar will be launched on “we chat” in China. Our objective is to have a stronger communication with our consumers to explain the quality and benefits of the OSCAR Kiwis.”
Concerning next season, Primland forecasts volume to be up from 5 to 10% in comparison with last year.
