China to ease restrictions on fruit from Taiwan

The Shanghai entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureau is preparing to simplify quarantine procedures for fruit imported from Taiwan, according to The Shanghai Daily.
More fruit from Taiwan will enter the market as state authorities announced that no tariffs will be imposed on more than 10 types of fruit from Taiwan.
About 65 tons of fruit from Taiwan has been imported to the Chinese mainland so far this year.
