Dutch food retailer Laurus has announced that first quarter sales at its Dutch stores fell by 10.5 percent to EUR 1.275 billion.
The company, which operates the Edah, Konmar and Super De Boer banners, attributed the decrease to the current price war in the Dutch market.
Laurus, which is 38.7 percent owned by the Casino Group, operates over 700 outlets in Holland.
