Baugur buys Big Food Group

The Big Food Group has agreed to sell the business to a consortium headed by Icelandic firm Baugur for £326 million.
After the sale, The Big Food Group will be broken up into three businesses; frozen food retailer Iceland, cash & carry chain Booker, and foodservice delivery firm Woodward.
