The Calahorra cabbage, PGI quality and perfect traceability

Cabbage " Coliflor de Calahorra PGI" produced in La Rioja (Spain) is emerging on European markets with high quality products.

Certified and recognized at European level by the PGI ( protected geographical indication ) cabbage " Coliflor de Calahorra " well known at local and national level, is beginning to be active in markets of Europe. To increase this presence, a working meeting between the Agricultural Counsellor and President of the Association of Producers helped develop a new cooperation agreement. The government of La Rioja will provide support for activities conducted promotions this year.

After improving the production, conservation and changing the brand (logo and packaging) , the Producers Association has chosen to identify each unit for full traceability .
