The Europatat Congress 2015 will take place in Düsseldorf

Europatat the next Congress will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Within the framework of Congress 2014 which was held in Brussels,  the place of Congress in 2015 has been decided. The Association DKHV  (Deutschen Kartoffelhandelsverband e. V.) will welcome the next Congress on 7 and 8 May 2015 in Düsseldorf.

Congress 2014 allowed to take stock, discuss topical issues, and to envisage the prospects of the sector. Presentation on the initiative of the European Commission of the study "Stop food waste" has revealed that approximately 90 million tons of food are thrown away every year in Europe. To limit this evolution and raise awareness of this problem, Europatat decided, as the European Commission, to launch a working group on this subject.
