Value of Peruvian fig exports exceeds $3 million through June

During the first six months of 2024, Peru exported 397,228 kilos of figs, reaching a value of $ 3,353,860 in exports, according to data from the consultancy Agrodata. Notably, no shipments were recorded in February.

 

The US market was the largest recipient of Peruvian figs, with purchases worth $1,085,512, representing 32% of total exports in the first half of the year. Other notable destinations were the United Kingdom with $ 915,562, the Netherlands with $ 750,585, Canada with $ 183,051 and France with $ 110,887, as well as other markets with smaller volumes.
