Ahold to acquire "Big V" stores

Stop & Shop, the supermarket operator owned by the Dutch Ahold, intends to acquire some outlets of the US "Big V" chain. It would be interested in the buyout of 26 "Big V" supermarkets, which would bring to 330 the number of its stores on the east coast of the USA.
