Chilean fruit exports to Latin America increased by 25% year-on-year

During the 2021/22 season, which began on September 1, 2021 and ended on August 31, 2022, Chile exported 536,053 tons of fresh fruit to Latin American markets, registering an increase of 25.26% compared to the previous campaign, according to data from the Association of Fruit Exporters of Chile (ASOEX).
The top five receiving countries were Colombia with 114,321 T (+17% year over year), Brazil with 101,890 T (+68%), Ecuador with 82,516 T (+7.4%), Peru with 51,759 T (+4.6%) and Mexico with 37,141 T (+13.7%).
