Plus planning over 1000 new stores

German discounter Plus has said that it plans to open more than 1000 new stores by 2010.
The supermarket chain, part of the Tengelmann Group, will focus its expansion outside Germany, with the aim of increasing its foreign business to around 40 percent of sales, up from 25 percent at the moment.
Around 10 percent of the new openings are planned for Romania.
