According to local media, citing an announcement by Ahmad Khani Nozari, Deputy Minister of Trade Development at the Ministry of Agricultural Development, that the imposition of duties on apple exports has been lifted (Photo: iran-fruit.com).
Decided at the beginning of March for a planned duration of 3 months, the tax set at 35% of the value of exported Iranian apples is set to be cancelled.
According to local media, citing an announcement by Ahmad Khani Nozari, Deputy Minister of Trade Development at the Ministry of Agricultural Development, that thanks to the cooperation of trade unions and organizations associated with the supply of apples, the imposition of duties on apple exports has been lifted.
This decision was taken after consultation with the unions and organizations involved in the supply of apples, who undertook to ensure supply to the domestic market. It was also based on an examination of the problems encountered by exporters of agricultural products.
