Ukrainian fruit producers prefer not to sell winter apples
According to the latest data Ukrainian fruit producers prefer to store winter apples in local warehouses in expectation of higher prices. As a result most of apples available in domestic market are mainly autumn ones. The price for apples remains unchanged comparing to the previous week figures – 3 – 7 UAH kg (0,3 – 0,7 EURO kg) according to the fruit size, kind and quality. Due to low demand of local consumers, apples producers are willing to reduce prices in case of big wholesale quantity. This year prices are almost on the same level comparing to the last season figures.
