US grape production expected to be lower

Production of grapes in the USA is expected to be around 8 percent lower this year. This decrease is due to lower production in the states of Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Washington. However, US grape exports have improved, especially to Mexico, where local production has been affected by a late harvest that affected grape quality.
