After carrying out pest risk analysis, the US Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) authorized importation of fresh mango from Grenada to the U.S.
The analysis results were made available for public review and comment.
According to APHIS, to mitigate the risks of introducing or spreading noxious weeds or plant pests, application of one or more phytosanitary measures will be enough.
