Creno Impex embraces INFORMIA

CRENO IMPEX is the central purchasing and wholesale service of the CRENO group. Its facility in Valence specializes in the distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables from supermarkets, wholesalers, and foreign customers.

The platform caters to 10,000 tonnes / year, which are treated in a warehouse of 2800 m2 near Valence, with 3 cold rooms, a reception area, a packing area and loading area. When the management of CRENO IMPEX decided to go in search of warehouse management software (WMS), the goal was clear: more control over what is happening in the company, controlling the merchandise throughout the process, and the quick return of pallets.

 
The leaders of CRENO IMPEX wanted to implement a new computer just before the season. The Informia project was successfully implemented in record time, in just 2 ½ months! Now CRENO IMPEX TraceFlow ® uses the warehouse management software and traceability for professionals of fruit and vegetables. The operators of the company CRENO IMPEX have at their disposal a fleet of 15 mobile devices that allow radio scanning of bar codes and then to follow the merchandise in real time.
