Expensive strawberries in Poland - painful reality

For producers, consumers and processors of strawberries in Poland, in longer period of time, the most profitable is when the prices are on the average level as it was in the last few years.
At present, processing plants pay for strawberries (with stem) 0,60 EUR/kg. Offered price satisfy producers and processors. Fruit without stems probably will be more expensive in further part of purchasing season and reach 0,65 -0,70 EUR/kg.
The price of strawberries perhaps will be increasing mainly due to:
Strong demand from foreign receivers (lack of previous year's stocks),
Shortage of workforce,
Unfavourable weather conditions (strong rainfall or persistent drought).
What would be the price of strawberries in the end of June? Some experts say that in the final stage of purchasing season the prices may fix at the level 1,10 - 1,40EUR/kg.
