New variety of apple-pear

 

 The new variety, known under the term “PermP109” is an Asian pear. With a beautiful red color lively on yellow bottom, of spherical shape, its texture is juicy and its soft flavour. Its shelf life is exceptionally good.

 

 

 Developed by Plantation and Food Research, this new pear will be marketed by Prevar Limited who obtained a license from the Associated International Group of Nurseries ( AIGN).

 

 

 “PermP109” will soon receive a new more attractive name for the marketing.

 

 

 “PermP109” combines flavour and aroma of European pears with texture of the Asian pears and should be able to conquer all the markets.
