Pakistan to boost its exports to Indonesia and Africa

Kinnow (Mandarin) is one of the flagship products of Pakistan's exports.
At EXPO PAKISTAN 2017, which was recently held in Karachi, numerous trade delegations from various countries concluded export orders with Pakistani companies.
EXPO PAKISTAN 2017 (9-12 /11/17) attracted delegations from Russia, United Kingdom, Thailand, Tunisia, Australia, Vietnam, Netherlands, Jordan, Argentina, Italy, Kenya, Belgium, Japan, Turkey, Sweden and Lithuania. According to professionals, the country has obtained new export orders worth millions of dollars.
Especially Indonesia which can become a big market for Pakistani fruit. The amount of Indonesian imports reaches 650 million USD per year for fruits and 550 million USD for vegetables. Pakistan is able to export more and gain market share.
In addition, due to low exports to African countries, the Ministry of Commerce has decided to grant duty drawback to companies exporting to Africa. Pakistan is seeking to double its bilateral trade with African countries from US $ 3 billion to US $ 6 billion over the next five years.
