Fresh produce industry hit by US attack

The terrorist attack that hit the USA on September 11th, 2001 raises concerns about fruit and vegetables exports. Indeed, exporters fear many international carriers cancel cargo shipments in favour of fuel in case planes would be diverted, notably over Middle East air space.
