Kroger's acquisitions in New Mexico

Kroger Co., the second biggest US supermarket operator, has completed the purchase of seven stores in New Mexico from Furrs Supermarkets. They will operate under the Smith's Food & Drug Stores banner. Kroger has also announced it has sold four Smith's stores in Texas and one in New Mexico to Fleming.
