Demand for agricultural products will continue to rise and should increase by 76% by 2016.
The total agricultural imports from Saudi Arabia rose 25% in three years and should improve further.
In 2009, total agricultural imports were valued at 14.2 billion U.S. dollars.
According to a report by the United Nations Food and Agriculture, agricultural imports from Saudi Arabia are expected to increase by 76% by 2016 (cereals, fruit vegetables).
