Good citrus fruit season in 2001-2002

According to the USDA, the 2001-2002 orange crop in Spain would amount to 2 807 million tons, that is to say a 4% increase compared to the previous season. Besides these last months' bad weather, the lemon production is abundant and the major part of it is sold to the industry for processing.
