A bigger number of exhibitors at Fruit Logistica, Berlin

Here we are !

Fruit Logistica, the main show of fruit & vegetable industry has opened yesterday in Berlin under a good climate. Indeed the temperatures were over 0°C in Berlin, but most important: industry people have been once again pleased to see that 3 new halls (1.1 , 2.1 and 3.1) have been added to the show floors.

In the grey buzz animated by most medias, these signs show a positive dynamism of our industry.

The attendance was good for the first day. However I have heard some of the exhibitors complaining about a low number of visitors. As usual, the ones who invest quite a lot of money in this event always worry during the first period of the show ! Just after saying so, my interviewee expressed his satisfaction to have met an old prospect just on its way back to the hotel.

On fructidor.com stand, the record of visitors has been broken up with a total of 245 visitors: Russians, Italians, Americans, but also quite a lot of persons from the Gulf countries, retail chains from Ukraine, etc...

The happy hours - forecasted every day at 5.00 pm - have been animated by strong Italian & Russian delegations !
