Italy and France join together to promote fruit and vegetables

The EU will support 20 projects for the promotion of agricultural products, including a joint project between Italy and France.
Europe will support twenty projects for the promotion of agricultural products, investing 70.7 million euros. The European Commission said 4 of the 20 approved campaigns involve more than one Member State. Italy and France will also cooperate on a joint project.
Among the members of the EU, only 16 countries are participating, and 9 projects invlolve fruits and vegetables: France, Italy, Greece, Belgium, Holland,
Romania, Estonia, the Austria and Portugal.
"Made in Europe" will be promoted by advertising campaigns, exhibitions and events focusing on quality, hygiene and compliance with environmental regulations. Countries have objectives such as the UK aiming to bring Scottish meat to Germany, Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy and the Netherlands. Greece is looking to promote fruit and vegetables in Norway, Russia and in Ukraine.
