New office for WUWM

During its general assembly WUWM (World Union of Wholesale Market) has proceeded to an election of its new office.

The General Assembly took place in Lublin (Poland) from the 18th to the 20th of May. During this event Dr Donald J. Darnall, Executive Director of the Maryland Food Centre Authority (MFCA) from Baltimore (USA) has received president functions, succeding Manuel Estrada-Nora, Chief of the International Department in Mercasa, Madrid (Spain)/

In the Vice-President position, election of Zengjun MA, Chairman of the Chinese Association of Wholesale Markets (CAWA). For the 4 consulting administrations positions in the WUWM, election of Laurent Nys, Managing Director, Mabru (Belgium), Jean-Paul Auguste, Président, Groupe Geraud (France), Josep Tejedo, Managing Director, Mercabarna, Barcelona (Spain), Eliane Steinmeyer

The mandates will end in May 2018, and meet the rest of the consulting WUWM administration (mandate until May 2017) which includes Stéphane Layani, Président, SEMMARIS - Marché international de Rungis (France), Grzegorz Hempowicz, Chairman, Poznan Market, (Poland), J.S. Yadav, Premium Market, (India) , Andres de Pando, Director, Mercasa (Spain), Ioannis Triantafyllis, CEO, Athens Central Market (Greece), Maurio Maurici de Lima Morais, former ABRACEN Chairman (Brazill), Fabio Massimo Pallottini, Chairman CAR Spa, Rome (Italia).
