Russia has raised an embargo on Georgian mandarins
Starting from 14.10.2013 Georgian citrus fruits are allowed to be imported to Russia. According to the official data there will be delivered the 1st amount of mandarins quite soon. Imported fruits won’t be under strong control from Russian side, each amount of purchased fruits will be inspected on usual terms. Georgian government plans to export around 80 thousands of tons of mandarins till the end of the year. The main competitors of Georgian fruits on Russian inside market are Turkey, Spain, Morocco.
