Increase of container traffic from the port of Dunkirk

The good figures of container traffic from the port of Dunkirk show strong growth in April.

Activities have shown an increase of 28%. Since the beginning of the year, aggregate traffic rose at 11% compared to last year. These good results come from the strong activity of the major lines of the port.

On May 24th, the container ship “CMA CGM TITAN” was inaugurated at the Terminal des Flandres in Dunkirk Port. CMA CGM, the third worldwide and the first French ship owner, has five regular services from the Caribbean, Asia, Panama and Morocco, and generates over 70% of the total volume handled by the terminal.
