Medfel 2014 business but also trade time

Countdown to the opening of the show Medfel 2014 trade fair, in the spotlight melons and watermelons.

The 2014 edition will take place from May 13 to 15 in Perpignan. This year for the first time the fair will host the Euro-Mediterranean Melon Congress, organized by the AREFLH (15.05), which will be preceded by a conference on melon Innovations and Evolutions (13.05), and debates on the melon, forecasts of planting (14.05).

MEDFEL is the most important economic  professional event of fruits and vegetables in France die. In 2013, the fair attracted 4,894 visitors, 231  Mediterranean exhibitors and 3840 appointment B to B.

The trade fair is also the time of discussions and debates that make the event a single bridge of connection between the two shores of the Mediterranean. It fully meets the needs of producers and traders of southern and northern Mediterranean to exchange, do business, optimize transportation and logistics and develop business partnerships.

Debates of Medfel make this year an update on the 5 +5 Dialogue initiated in November 2013 in Algiers on agricultural and food security issues among the countries of the Northern Mediterranean (Spain, France, Malta, Portugal, Italy) and South of the Mediterranean (Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco) in order to establish a platform for exchanges at the political level to advance sectoral cooperation in the region.
