Ukrainian producers actively export sweet cherry to Russia

Ukrainian sweet cherry meets a good demand in Moscow and other regions of Russian Federation.
The retail price for sweet cherry reaches US$4-6/kg in Moscow; at the same time, the producers of the South of Ukraine set the wholesale price starting from US$0.4-0.6/kg. The representatives of the leading retail chains are actively interested in the possibility of increase of the purchase of vegetables, fruit and berries in Ukraine; they are sure, Ukrainian producers just need to install modern systems for the produce cooling and packing to rapidly increase the sales shipments supplied to Russia.
