Increase in Peruvian ginger exports

In the first 7 months of 2022, exports of ginger (kion) by Peru totaled 27,026,123 kilos, while in the same period last year, its shipments totaled 21,010,237 kilos, according to the Agrodata Peru portal.

 

 

The value of said supplies from January to July of the current year fell to $34,868,342 from $42,295,669 achieved in 2021.

 

 

The main destinations this year are the United States, Canada, Spain, Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Mexico, among others.
