The Billa supermarket chain plans to expand in Russia, Ukraine and Romania.
Billa wants to open 10 new stores per year in Russia. The chain currently operates 72 stores in Russia, where sales rose by 14.6%.
Billa believes that the potential is still huge for the markets of Central and Eastern Europe.
With the planned expansion in Russia, the chain also plans to increase the number of its stores in Ukraine and Romania, in total, 50 to 80 stores per year.
